1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OpenMarina ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. User-Generated Content

OpenMarina allows users to post content including text, photos, reviews, and comments. By posting content, you grant OpenMarina a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.

You agree NOT to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of privacy
• Contains sexually explicit material
• Promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Contains personal information of others without consent

OpenMarina has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

4. Content Moderation

Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users through the App. OpenMarina will review all reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action, including removing content and ejecting users who violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions

OpenMarina offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans ("Premium"). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.

• Premium Monthly: auto-renews every month
• Premium Yearly: auto-renews every year

6. Location Data

OpenMarina uses your location data to show nearby marinas and enable live tracking features. Location sharing is optional and only active when explicitly enabled by you.

7. AIS Vessel Data

OpenMarina displays vessel positions from publicly available AIS data. This data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be used for navigation safety decisions.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. OpenMarina is not responsible for the accuracy of marina information, vessel positions, or user-generated content.

9. Limitation of Liability

OpenMarina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
